She has never been just a vocal synthesis software, nor is she bound by the traditional path to stardom. When creators pour their hearts into writing songs, drawing illustrations, and choreographing dances for her, every emotional projection endows her with a unique soul. This collective cultivation has infused this distinct rose, with her iconic blue-green pigtails, with an endless variety of vitality. This forum specially invites Mr. Hiroyuki Itoh, the CEO of Crypton Future Media, INC. and the key driving force behind the Hatsune Miku project. He will look back at how Hatsune Miku was born in Sapporo, how she broke the traditional top-down, one-way communication of IPs, and how a balance is struck between "open co-creation" and "brand protection." From the perspectives of music, community ecology, and the latest technology, we will explore how this "vitality of secondary creation," guarded by creators, establishes a companionship that transcends dimensions, creates globally celebrated cultural value, and continues to shine in the creators' universe. 【講者介紹】 伊藤博之／Crypton Future Media 株式會社董事長 1965年，北海道標茶町出生。高中畢業後在北海道大學擔任職員，與此同時也就讀北海道學園大學經濟系並且畢業。1995年，成立、Crypton Future Media, INC. 。擔任該公司董事長。身為專營音效素材的「聲音商社」，在探索「聲音」這個專精領域的同時，也發展數位內容相關事業，在此期間於2007年開發了歌聲合成軟體企劃「初音未來」。提出為創作者提供「創作」內容所需的技術與服務，「打造」發表完成作品的「場域」之使命。自2016年起擔任NoMaps實行委員會委員長。自2020年起擔任OngaLAB, Inc.董事長。因新創產業成績斐然而於2013年獲得藍綬褒章。2025年出版著作《創作のミライ　「初音ミク」が北海道から生まれたわけ（創作的未來：「初音未來」為何誕生於北海道）》。 Speaker: Hiroyuki Itoh CEO of Crypton Future Media, INC. He was born in 1965, in Shibecha Town, Hokkaido. After graduating from high school, he worked as a staff member at Hokkaido University while attending and graduating from the Faculty of Economics at Hokkai-Gakuen University. In 1995, he founded Crypton Future Media, Inc. He is currently the Representative Director of the company. The company operates as a “sound trading company” that deals with sound materials, while developing digital content related businesses and exploring their area of expertise, which is the “sound”, leading to the planning and development of the singing voice synthesis software “Hatsune Miku” in 2007. The stated mission of the company is to “create” technologies and services that enable creators to “create” their works, and to “create” a platform for them to showcase their created works. He is the Chairman of the NoMaps Committee since 2016. He is the Representative Director of OngaLAB, Inc., from 2020. He was awarded the Medal with Blue Ribbon in 2013 for his achievements in new industries. He currently serves as an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of German Language and Culture at Soochow University, alongside his work as a columnist. Grounded in scholarship and writing — yet an otaku at heart and soul — he maintains a keen interest in the intersection of digital technology with contemporary art. He is also the co-host of udn Global’s podcast Taiwan Gēmuki (轉角遊樂器), where he explores intellectual dialogues around video games through humanistic inquiry.
