As 10 dancers move, their breathing converges and flows and their bodies resonate to form tangible musical notes, leading audiences back to the starting point of their youth. Fragile bodies intertwine, producing fervent energy and constructing captivating physical landscapes on stage that evoke moments of first encounters, laughter, and longing. Recently honored with the Rose International Dance Prize by London's Sadler's Wells, this work by Greek choreographer Christos Papadopoulos features a rhythmic unfolding of his choreography, which is continuously generated as sounds are produced by the dancers' bodies and breathing, with extension into a simple, transparent, and interconnected existence.
