When Amir, a young Israeli discovering himself far from home, keeps reappearing in his back seat, their late night rides grow into an unexpected friendship. Between chance encounters and shared stories, both find new ways to move forward. 阿薩夫．馬赫涅斯 Assaf MACHNES 1987年生，大學原主修數學，後畢業於倫敦Met電影學院。2013年執導短片《Auschwitz On My Mind》入圍以色列電影學院獎最佳短片。2017年短片《Seven Minutes》入選柏林影展，亦以2018年VR作品《Borderline》入選威尼斯影展。《柏林計程車》是他的首部長片。 Assaf MACHNES is a Berlin-based writer-director whose works have screened at Venice, Berlinale, Locarno, and other major festivals, earning multiple awards and international distribution. His docu-fiction web series Gimel surpassed one million views.
