⟢ 海潮湧動中浮出山影 ⟣ 建物群晃，搖曳浮動；柏油路面，如煙似霧。 ⟢ 根據全球氣候研究顯示，全球暖化已不再是未來式，而是正在發生的現在進行式。極端高溫、能源消耗增加與生態失衡，持續影響著人類的生活環境與身心狀態。當熱浪逐漸成為城市日常，受到改變的不只是氣候與地景，更包括人們的生活節奏、情緒感受，以及人與人之間的互動關係。 ⟢ 本展試圖將空間打造成《心靈避暑之地》，所提供的並非一處逃離現實的烏托邦，而是一場關於「降溫」的實驗性展覽，邀請黎志文、陳孟澤、林辰勳、賴楚穎、孟陳恩、胡銜文，以及黃冠連等七位藝術家，以「海」為起點，透過潮汐之境、海岸地景、海生之物與浪花印記等相關海洋意象作品，邀請觀眾暫時離開炙熱的城市現實，步入一座由海潮緩慢堆疊而成的場域，在潮起潮落之間感受大海的包容與流動。當海岸、潮汐、生命與記憶的意象層層堆疊，一座「山影」自海潮之中緩緩浮現。 ⟢ 「山影」並非真實景觀，是策展核心隱喻，與「海的流動」形成對照。最終，「山影」將成為一座由觀者心中「油然而生」的大山，安放於內在深處，在海的流動之中尋得安定，並獲得持續前行的力量。 ⟢ ⟢ ⟢ Mountain Silhouettes Emerging from the Tides ⟣ The cluster of buildings sways and trembles, undulating softly; the asphalt road dissolves into smoke and mist. ⟢ According to global climate research, global warming is no longer a future scenario but a present and ongoing reality. Extreme heat, rising energy consumption, and ecological imbalance continue to reshape human living environments as well as physical and psychological conditions. As heatwaves gradually become part of everyday urban life, what is being transformed is not only climate and landscape, but also the rhythms of daily life, emotional perception, and patterns of human interaction. ⟢ This exhibition seeks to transform the space into a Sanctuary for Cooling the Mind. It does not propose a utopian escape from reality, but rather an experimental exhibition centered on the notion of “cooling.” Inviting seven artists, Lai Chi-Man, Chen Meng-Tze, Lin Chen-Shun, Lai Chu Ying, Meng Chen-En, Hu Shian-Wen, and Huang Guan-Lian, the exhibition begins with the motif of the sea. Through works evoking tidal environments, coastal landscapes, marine life, and imprints of waves, viewers are invited to momentarily depart from the overheated realities of the city and enter a field gradually shaped by the rhythms of the ocean, where they may experience the sea’s fluidity and inclusiveness through the continuous movement of tides. As imagery of coastlines, tides, life, and memory accumulates in layers, the silhouette of a “mountain shadow” gradually emerges from the sea. ⟢ The “mountain shadow” is not a literal landscape, but a central curatorial metaphor that stands in contrast to the fluidity of the sea. Ultimately, it becomes an internalized presence—an emergent mountain formed within the viewer’s perception.
