The disappearance of glaciers signifies not only an imbalance in the climate system but is also linked to ecological collapse, species extinction, and shifts in the conditions necessary for human survival. This creative project seeks to translate the processes of glacial melting and the passing of life into tangible, embodied experiences. Through the dancers' physicality, sense of time, and spatial relationships, the work responds to the increasingly unbalanced connection between humanity and nature, while guiding the audience—through an emotional lens—to reconsider their own position and responsibilities regarding environmental issues. #EnvironmentalIssues #LifeIssues Responding to each other through dance The choreographer’s body of work is rooted in social issues—ranging from a 2022 dance-theater piece on dementia and a 2023 exploration of positive visions of aging in a super-aged society, to a planned 2026 inquiry into the essence of life and environmental concerns. The choreographer excels at weaving together the diverse backgrounds of performers to shape the artistic vision, while celebrating the unique individuality of each person.
