Stewards of Brazil's first demarcated indigenous territory, they defend their homeland against farmers, loggers, wildfires and climate change. Drawing on ancient myths and their hyperconnected youth, the Wauja stand as a beacon of resilience. Through intimate 360° filming and 3D scanned environments, Piratá brings his people's wisdom in their Arawak language to global audiences, so we may reconnect to Nature as we face an uncertain future. 皮拉答瓦烏札 Piratá Waurá 皮拉答瓦烏札是來自巴西亞馬遜上辛古地區的瓦烏拉族導演與原住民行動者，他以數位媒體推動文化保存與原住民權益。2025 年，他共同執導了得獎短片《Replika》。 Piratá Waurá is a Wauja filmmaker and Indigenous activist from the Upper Xingu, Brazilian Amazon, using digital media for cultural preservation and Indigenous rights. As it navigates landscapes through machine vision, it witnesses traditional rituals, everyday traditions, and traces of a rapidly changing world. Processing these encounters beyond its original programming, SILIQ begins to question the nature of memory, spirituality, and consciousness. Blending speculative science fiction with Taiwanese mythology, the film explores whether an artificial intelligence can develop its own understanding of humanity, and ultimately make choices beyond the intentions of its creators. 盧德昕 LU Te-hsing 盧德昕，旅居洛杉磯的臺灣導演與新媒體藝術家，致力於探索影像、XR 與科技交會的沉浸式敘事。擁有建築與動畫背景，其創作融合推測科幻、空間設計與體驗敘事，建構富有情感與想像力的世界觀，並透過跨領域創作拓展影像敘事的可能性。 Te-Hsing LU is a Taiwan-born, Los Angeles–based director and new media artist exploring immersive storytelling across film, XR, and emerging technologies.
