出征、精神動員 Leaving for the Front Line, Spiritual Mobilization 日本 Japan｜1937｜DCP｜B&W｜2 min 學徒兵演習、神社之祭 Military Drill for Student Soldiers, Shinto Matsuri 日本 Japan｜c.1942-1945｜DCP｜B&W｜5 min 兩段由影視聽中心典藏的日治時期影片，原以35mm拍攝，於2025年完成數位化。前者記錄了台中國民精神總動員演講會的片段實況，以及歡送出征隊伍的慷慨激昂。後者捕捉到一場祭典遊行中的官員神態與群眾身影；後半部則呈現學徒兵荷槍行進、演習作戰的情況，也一瞥女學生捏製飯糰的後勤工作場景。 Digitised in 2025, two 35mm films from Taiwan’s Japanese colonial period are presented together. The first captures a national mobilisation rally in Taichung and the fervour surrounding a troops’ send-off. The second observes a Shinto festival procession, student soldiers drilling with rifles, and female students forming rice balls for wartime logistics. ​​無情 Mujō (The Heartless) 藤井光 FUJII Hikaru｜日本 Japan｜2019/2026｜DCP｜Colour｜13 min 國策宣傳片《國民道場》（c.1943）記錄了日本政府「皇民化」台灣人的訓練儀式。本作品對此進行批判性再演，邀請旅日年輕移民，重現片中徹底排除個人情感的「無私」與「無情」。他們演繹在軍國主義與殖民情境下，身體與精神如何被規訓，從「非日本人」轉變為「日本人」的過程。 Released circa 1943, Kokumin Dojo (Civilian Training Centre) was a Japanese state-sponsored propaganda film documenting rituals used to convert Taiwanese people into 'imperial' Japanese subjects. This work offers a contemporary critical reenactment of selfhood and emotional erasure as colonial policy, staging four young immigrants in Japan under off-camera command, synchronised with the original film. 檔案／李光輝 Archive: Li Guang-hui 張照堂 CHANG Chao-tang｜台灣 Taiwan｜1975-1979｜DCP｜Colour｜31 min 台籍原住民日本兵李光輝（阿美族名史尼育唔，日文名中村輝夫，1919-1979），在戰後不知日本已投降，而獨自在叢林中躲藏近30年。本片出自張照堂的影音檔案，在1975年至1979年間，記錄下他自印尼被發現、返抵台灣、回到原鄉，短暫成為媒體焦點，直至因肺癌病逝的生命末段。 Suniuo (1919–1979), also known as Li Guang-hui, was an Indigenous Taiwanese soldier for Japan. Unaware of Japan’s WWII surrender, he remained hidden in the jungle for thirty years.
